Omaha Sports Commission's Santa Run
Dec. 6, 2025 at 11 a.m.
Price: $25 for adults; $10 for kids ages 3-13; Free for kids 2 and under
Location: La Vista City Centre, 8219 City Centre Drive, La Vista, NE
The all-ages fun run is a distance of 2k, involving participants suited up in provided holiday gear and conquering obstacles set by the North Pole elves. The first 200 adults (14+) will receive a Santa suit. Children (3-13) will receive festive holiday-inspired headband.

Downtown Papillion Christmas Cookie Crawl
Dec. 6, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Price: $25
Location: 15 stops in Downtown Papillion, NE
This festive crawl, hosted by The Book Nook, features 15 cookie stops with items made by local bakeries and home bakers.

Santa's Forest Festival
Dec. 6, 2025 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Price: Included with admission: $15 per person; Members: Free
Location: Fontenelle Forest, 1111 Bellevue Blvd. North, Bellevue, NE
Santa will be at the Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, and coffee or hot cocoa will be available for purchase. Event included with regular admission to Fontenelle Forest.

Third Annual Beauty View Christmas
Dec. 6, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Price: Free; other treats like hot cocoa available for purchase
Location: Beauty View Dairy Farm, 2075 Co Road K, Wahoo, NE
Free pictures with Santa and a calf and free dairy samples. Other treats like hot cocoa will be available for purchase.

Holiday Cocktail Crawl
Dec. 6, 2025 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Price: Free to attend; cocktails purchased separately
Location: Participating establishments at Midtown Crossing, 33rd and Farnam streets, Omaha, NE
Visit as many stops as you like, in any order you like, and cast your vote for the best cocktail in midtown. Each participating business will have a signature cocktail. Festive attire is encouraged — ugly sweaters, cocktail dresses, Santa suits welcome.

Joyful Noise: A Gospel Christmas

Location: Downtown Gretna, NE and Peterson Park
City of Gretna's annual event features a handmade holiday market, free activities, and hayrack rides from noon to 4 p.m. in downtown Gretna, and soup, hot cider, hot dogs, tree lighting ceremony, and holiday dances in Peterson Park from 4 to 6 p.m.

This annual celebration is a day full of activities, performances, German food, and holiday cheer. Features authentic German Christmas Market, 15-foot Tannenbaum, Christkindl Market, and St. Nicholas arrives at 4:30 p.m.
